Location: Flemington, NJ

Magna-Power Electronics, a leader in high-power dc power supplies, located in Flemington, New Jersey (NJ), is currently seeking electronic R&D engineers/technicians for product development.

Qualified candidates should be team players, have good organizational skills, be proficient with using a computer, and have sound analytical problem-solving and documentation skills.  Ideal candidates will have experience in testing power electronic circuits and troubleshooting knowledge of electronic circuits at the components level.  Specific duties will include:

• Perform electronic hardware tests in accordance with defined engineering procedures or guidelines under the direction of engineers.
• Build engineering prototypes under the direction of an electrical engineer. Document prototype construction and maintains pertinent engineering records.
• Assist engineers in the evaluation of new electronic components.
• Assemble test fixtures, loads, and other components common to product development.
• Provide support to engineering staff as needed.
• Follow and improve R & D processes.

Qualifications are as follows:

• Minimum two-year electronic technology or related associate degree
• Working knowledge of modern analog and digital electronics and electronic circuits
• Familiarity with modern test equipment
• Strong writing and speaking skills
• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
• Ability to work cooperatively in team environment
